Kate Moss joins Vogue as Contributing Editor

Kate the Great a fashion editor? Of the top of our heads can we really think of any other publication she’d fit better in than the industries big ruler? Hardly. After gracing the covers of Vogue for the iconic 33 times and acting as a designer for TopShop, Miss Moss is finally ready for the top job.
It’s not the first time Kate had her dibs on Vogue. In 2005 year she guest edited an issue of Paris Vogue and now just as the news came of her reoccurring venture into designing for Topshop it’s seems to be in the cards for Moss to settle at the very place that gave birth to her legend. Only this time, Moss will be creating a lot more then just mesmerising looks for the camera lens.
I cannot but share Alexandra Shulman´s (editor at British Vogue) enthusiasm who made it clear she’s nothing short of thrilled to have Kate on board. "I am absolutely delighted that Kate is going to work with us in this new role. Her brilliant sense of style, depth of fashion knowledge and understanding of what makes a wonderful image will be exciting to see on pages of British Vogue. I am really looking forward to working with her on ideas." she told Vogue
A question remains. Can an old dog like Kate tackle the mighty task that is an editor’s job? While there is little doubt she is fashion industry veteran, it remains to be seen how many actual expert tricks that involve editing a fashion mag had she picked up over the years.
